The content of this website was based on the model provided by Scotland GM, originally developed by Joe Latham after his retirement, and was developed in detail by the Devon and Cornwall website Briefing Group between October 2006 and March 2007. Like the new Scotland GM site, and thanks to Chris Bevington of Marazion Meeting, it was built (mainly from March to June 2007) using Drupal, an open-source Content Management System, which enables users to enter content. The Briefing Group was renamed the IT Committee on 9 June 2007, and the Working Group in October 2009. The responsibilities of members individually are:
Bill Waghorn, General Editor, Technical support, EVENTS page, Links page editor - Barnstaple (Devon AM) <hope "at" w2x.co.uk>
Sylvia Hilken, edits Home Page - Exeter Meeting (Devon AM) sylviahilken@googlemail.com
Andrew Williams,
Quaker Voices page editor - Sidmouth Meeting (Devon AM)
didiomega@hotmail.comAlan Ray-Jones, Maintains Devon AM page including 'who does what', Glossary, National Happenings; and assists with everything else - Tavistock (Devon AM) alan@ray-jones.org.uk
If you want to point out an error, a broken link, provide information (eg about an event), have a concern or suggestion about the website or its content, please email whoever above seems most relevant. If in doubt, email Bill.
Every Local Meeting in Devon and Cornwall has its own webpage editor, and names of editors are given each year in: 'List of Members and Attenders of the Religious Societ of Friends in Devon and Cornwall', which is available to members from Local Meetings.
